Vintage novelty pin cushion featuring a central pink satin-style cushion surrounded by ten miniature Chinese-inspired cloth dolls dressed in brightly coloured traditional-style costumes.

The circular cushion is decorated with green stitched segment lines and retains an assortment of vintage dressmaking pins, including several decorative novelty examples such as a carved wooden mouse, a cherry, a pink flower, a turned wooden spool and other ornamental pin heads. The dolls have hand-painted embroidered facial details and braided thread hair, creating a distinctive and colourful display.
